Job summary

BMAC is seeking a Senior Director of Community Services to lead its homeless services, education, and legal assistance programs. You will drive strategic direction, ensure contract compliance, and oversee data tracking and outcomes across multiple funding streams.

The role requires executive leadership, staff development, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance poverty relief, housing stability, health equity, and access to justice for low-income residents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in program management within nonprofit/human services.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience managing professional staff.
• Experience administering complex grants and contracts with oversight of compliance, budgets, and outcomes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for BMAC's community services division.
• Ensure programs meet contractual, regulatory, and organizational performance goals.
• Supervise program directors, coach staff, and foster professional development.
• Oversee budgets, funding, and grant-related activities; support sustainability efforts.
• Promote data-driven decision making and cross-program collaboration.
• Support risk management and continuous quality improvement across the division.
