Job summary

CampusWorks, Inc. seeks an experienced Associate CIO to lead on‑site technology services for a higher education client, aligning enterprise applications and infrastructure with institutional priorities while providing hands‑on leadership with Colleague ERP expertise.

You will partner with the campus CIO and CampusWorks CoEs to drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement in a complex managed services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Significant experience leading or supporting Ellucian Colleague ERP environments in a higher education setting.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a working executive leader balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on‑site Managed Services leader embedded on campus as an Executive Director role.
• Build and maintain relationships with campus leadership, stakeholders, faculty, and staff.
• Partner with the client CIO to support institutional priorities and operational technology planning.
• Translate objectives into actionable operational technology initiatives and support plans.
• Lead governance, planning, and communication of risks and project updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee enterprise applications, infrastructure services, security, and service delivery.
