Job summary

Princeton University is seeking an Associate CIO, Administrative Applications within the Office of Information Technology. This senior leader will set vision for cloud ERP and administrative applications, guide modernization, and ensure seamless transition from legacy systems to cloud platforms while maintaining operations.

You will partner with academic and IT leadership to align technology investments with institutional goals, drive business value, and sustain user experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive-level IT leadership experience.
• Extensive executive experience implementing and managing cloud ERP systems.
• Experience with on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, compliance in higher education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate institutional goals into technology solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategies for cloud ERP and administrative applications.
• Lead large teams of 50+ and foster high-performance culture.
• Guide organizational change and stakeholder buy-in.
• Oversee evaluation, selection, and implementation of cloud ERP.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy across systems.
• Coordinate rollouts with campus stakeholders and IT teams.
• Maintain software asset inventory and contracts.
• Deliver training and end-user support resources.
