Job summary

Middlesex Community College seeks a Director of IT Applications (On Campus) to lead the staff supporting enterprise administrative applications, reporting infrastructure, and web technology. The role requires directing multi-system integrations and ensuring secure data services on site at Lowell with occasional travel to Bedford.

The position reports to the CIO, offers a 37.5-hour week, and requires a strong background in large-scale application development and Ellucian products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business; ten years of experience in application development and leadership.
• Significant programming experience with C and PL/SQL in UNIX; familiarity with Omni CMS, Visual Studio, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL Server.
• Experience with Java, web services, and integration of enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff supporting enterprise administrative applications and reporting infrastructure.
• Develop specifications, costs, and schedules for computer applications.
• Maintain project lists, coordinate programming staff, and communicate status.
• Manage Banner–Blackboard integration using Ellucian ILP and Ethos.
• Oversee MCC Mobile App and My MCC Portal platforms and ADA-compliant web content.
• Architect and manage institutional reporting environment and data security.
