Job summary

Dow Jones Energy in Houston is seeking an Executive Director - Head of Energy Markets Research & Analysis to lead the development and stewardship of olefin chemicals market research and analysis. You will report to the Vice President of Research.

The role oversees forecasting, liaison with external suppliers, and the deployment of subject matter experts at industry events and client engagements, with a focus on crude oil, natural gas, NGLs and refined products.

Qualifications

15+ years upstream, downstream, and/or midstream industry experience and market intelligence.
Experience managing 10+ direct reports and mentoring multi-disciplinary experts.
Ability to identify core issues in complex problems and deliver insights.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead development of new research products focusing on energy markets (crude, gas, NGLs, refined products).
Direct primary research and create analysis for new services and client engagements.
Oversee energy price forecasting and communicate key forecast messages.
Build relationships with producers, traders, and financial community.
