Job summary

Dow Jones seeks an Executive Director - Head of Syngas Chemical Markets Research & Analysis in Houston to lead the research leadership team. You will direct primary research on the methanol, ammonia and hydrogen markets and oversee forecasting, client engagements and industry events.

You will collaborate with sales and content leaders, develop market presentations, and ensure price discovery standards across Dow Jones Energy. Extensive leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of chemical industry experience in methanol, ammonia, hydrogen or derivatives.
• Experience managing 10+ direct reports and mentoring senior experts.
• Strong problem solving and ability to deliver insights on complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Direct primary research on global syngas chemical markets, incl. methanol and ammonia.
• Oversee price forecasting and communicate forecast messages internally and externally.
• Lead industry engagement at events, media opportunities, and client meetings.
