Dow Jones Energy is seeking an Executive Director - Research Excellence to modernize market research processes and drive cross-functional initiatives under the Research leadership team. You will report to the Vice President of Research and shape strategic guidance across commodity coverage.

You will oversee data tools upgrades, streamline ingestion workflows, and align outputs with client needs, working closely with research, product and data partners globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience across the end-to-end research process.
• Experience in commodity research shops is highly preferred.
• Experience managing direct reports and mentoring staff.
• Strong data visualization and tool-management skills across BI platforms.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current market research processes and lead modernization strategies across commodities.
• Upgrade analytical tools and streamline data ingestion for better visualizations.
• Steer decentralized teams to plan and develop new coverage areas.
