Job summary

Vectra AI, Inc. seeks an experienced security leader to own our enterprise information security program, set strategy, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across data, systems, and infrastructure.

The role includes oversight of IT operations and leading a high-performing security team, with executive exposure and collaboration across business units. This is a senior, on-site leadership position based in the San Jose area.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in information security with at least 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven success building and leading enterprise security programs in US/global orgs.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud/hybrid security architectures and IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide information security strategy aligned to business goals.
• Establish and maintain policies, standards, and controls for data, network, endpoint, cloud security, and incident response.
• Lead and mentor a security team and collaborate with engineering, IT, legal, HR, and other functions.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and tabletop exercises; present findings to leadership and board.
• Drive compliance with US and international frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Manage security aspects of third-party/vendor relationships and act as primary contact for regulators/auditors/customers.
