Etix, Inc. seeks a Director of Security to build and lead our security program. This hands-on leadership role defines strategy, strengthens application and infrastructure security, and governs data privacy.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, and Exec Leadership to embed security in design and operations. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one remote day weekly. You will influence product architecture, infrastructure design, and risk management across U.S.

Formación

• 8+ years in security engineering or related fields.
• Experience building or leading security programs in SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, or high-transaction environments.
• Hands-on security of web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deep understanding of Secure SDLC, vulnerability management, IAM, and encryption.
• Experience owning or supporting PCI-DSS and similar frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Lead security strategy and program leadership to align with growth.
• Elevate Etix's security practices and define a multi-year roadmap.
• Establish security KPIs and provide executive risk visibility.
• Evaluate AI-driven security tools to improve threat detection and efficiency.
• Strengthen application and infrastructure security with automated controls.
• Embed secure SDLC, threat modeling, and vulnerability management in engineering.
• Partner with DevOps/IT to strengthen cloud, IAM, and monitoring.
• Serve as primary security contact for audits, RFPs, and third-party assessments.
