Job summary

City of New York's Research and Analytics Division (RAD) is hiring three Executive Directors to lead data science, engineering, and product teams that support DCWP investigations and litigation. You will be the most senior technical leader, directing casework, analytics products, and engineering efforts in close partnership with attorneys and investigators.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business/public administration, economics, labor or related fields with 4 years in labor research/analysis or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience and 18 months in supervisory roles.
• Education/experience equivalent with a bachelor's degree and executive experience.

Responsibilities

• Casework: supervise data scientists and technologists on investigations and litigation; analyze data and present findings.
• Product: define analytics products; gather requirements; support deployment.
• Engineering: lead engineers through design, testing and iteration.
• Tech policy: advise on technology policy and enforceability; advocate protections.
• Team Management: hire, supervise and develop staff.
