Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Executive Director, Clinical Operations to translate the CCO’s strategic priorities into system-wide action across clinical quality, patient safety, behavioral health, and value-based care. The role leads a ~15-person direct reporting team and partners with finance, IT, and clinical leaders to drive accountability and execution in a large health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare management, operations, or strategy.
• Experience managing budgets, performance cycles, and senior leadership teams.
• Familiarity with clinical quality, value-based care, patient experience, and population health.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational advisor to the CCO and OCCO for priorities and resource deployment.
• Manage day-to-day OCCO rhythm, agenda tracking, and commitments across portfolios.
• Oversee budget planning, reporting, and annual cost-center processes.
• Lead performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and leadership evaluations.
• Coordinate governance forums and cross-functional leadership meetings.
• Drive data governance, digital platforms, and analytics to support performance monitoring.
