Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Executive Director, System Nursing Operations to lead systemwide nursing programs and drive patient throughput across entities. You will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and shape culture, informatics, case management, and staffing insights while partnering with local leaders to meet KPIs.

The role emphasizes Lean methodologies, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and strengthening the BILH nursing brand across the network.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Finance or Hospital Administration is required.
Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice or PhD in related fields preferred.
More than 10 years related work experience required with 5–8 years supervisory/management experience.
At least five years of progressive nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provide professional leadership and be a member of the BILH Nursing Leadership team.
Support programmatic creation of systemwide strategies and standardized operations.
Assist local leaders in improving operations to achieve optimal performance.
Oversee patient throughput initiatives and the Case Management Program.
Offer staffing insights to local entities and represent nursing informatics across the system.
Provide on-site support to promote ongoing initiatives with multidisciplinary teams.
