Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director to lead techno-functional controls across AI governance for Client Onboarding and Documentation within the CDAO function.

You will drive strategic testing, advanced analytics, and scalable controls while partnering with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance. The role emphasizes leadership in AI risk, data quality, bias/fairness, and model deployment, with oversight across end-to-end transformation programs

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data science, technology risk, or related fields.
• 3–5 years in AI and digital transformation with enterprise leadership.
• Bachelor’s in computer science, data science, engineering, math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive AI controls strategy and data governance across COD and CDAO in CIB Operations.
• Build executive partnerships with Operations, Technology, Product, Data, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Audit.
• Provide executive oversight for AI risk assessments across AI/ML use cases and ensure issues are resolved.
• Strengthen data governance expectations for AI initiatives and data products.
• Lead deep-dive technical reviews of AI solutions and translate risks into actionable recommendations.
• Champion technology-enabled testing at scale, expanding analytics and automation for risk coverage.
• Provide advisory support on change management for large-scale transformation programs.
• Drive root-cause analysis and remediation, embedding insights into standards and delivery.
• Build and develop a high-performing global team with coaching and succession planning.
• Represent COD Controls in executive forums with credible challenge and risk posture updates.
• Promote innovation in controls using Python and GenAI/automation to improve control effectiveness.
