Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an AI ML Governance & Automation Lead within Consumer & Community Banking Digital AI/ML to drive governance programs, partnering with data scientists, engineers, product teams, risk partners, and business stakeholders to enable responsible innovation across advanced AI use cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management for AI/ML governance.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML development lifecycles and governance.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute program plans for AI/ML governance, milestones, resources, and timelines.
• Partner with data science, engineering, product, legal, risk, controls, compliance, and business teams to define scope and success metrics.
• Design scalable governance solutions for agentic, generative, and customer-facing AI/ML use cases to reduce bottlenecks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, address roadblocks, and maintain momentum.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable plans, milestones, and execution steps.
• Drive alignment on governance standards, controls, docs, and operating procedures for AI capabilities.
• Use analytics to evaluate program performance and drive data-driven improvements.
• Champion agile delivery, continuous improvement, and responsible AI innovation.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and dependencies to senior stakeholders clearly.
• Contribute to repeatable governance frameworks, playbooks, and patterns across Digital AI/ML.
