Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on technology risk and controls concepts; 10+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in data governance, AI/ML risk management, and internal controls across technology environments.
• Experience designing governance frameworks for enterprise-scale data and AI ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and audit management in complex tech settings.
• Experience developing controls for AI explainability, transparency, fairness, and model performance.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management; influencing senior leaders across tech, risk, compliance, and business.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the firm's Data and AI Governance strategy and operating model.
• Lead governance for AI initiatives across full lifecycle, aligning with policy and regulatory expectations.
• Design and maintain a control environment across data and AI platforms; manage risks.
• Partner with technology to embed controls in data pipelines and development lifecycles; remediate findings.
• Monitor global regulatory requirements impacting data and AI; coordinate examinations and audits.
• Establish standards for data quality, lineage, metadata, and access management; oversee monitoring and reports.
• Define governance for data access and least-privilege; collaborate with cybersecurity and platform teams.
• Chair or participate in governance forums, presenting risk metrics to executive committees.
• Lead a high-performing team of governance, risk, controls, data management, and policy professionals.
