The Director of Operations – Affordable will oversee the Company’s affordable housing operations and report to the COO. This role provides strategic and operational leadership, with responsibility for property performance, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and client service.

• Develop, establish, and communicate a general periodic schedule for property visits.
• Communicate format and standard expectations for periodic property visits and meetings with appropriate team members – primarily Regional Managers and Facilities Managers.
• Provide clear direction and communications to Regional Managers and Facilities Managers with respect to performance against Strategic Business Plan goals.
• Supervise and lead operational and facilities staff to identify any operational deficiencies or issues and establish goals and timeframes for remediation.
• Manage the security accounts across the Affordable portfolio, conduct risk assessment, and handle all security matters.
• Notify CEO and asset ownership of any key operational issues as appropriate.
