Job summary

Midwest Health in Topeka, KS seeks an Executive Director with senior living management experience to oversee operations, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and maintain high-quality resident care. On- the- job training will be provided and the Assisted Living Manager Course must be completed within 6 months after hire if not already obtained.

The role involves directing the organization under the Regional VP, monitoring compliance with policies, budgets, admissions, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience managing senior living facilities.
• Knowledge of Kansas and Federal requirements.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor compliance with total patient care, personnel, medical staff, financial status, PR and maintenance under broad directives.
• Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
• Periodically review policies and discuss changes with responsible personnel.
• Regularly check financial status, maintain efficient accounting system; help prepare annual budget and records.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements for admission, including Advance Directives and Resident Rights.
• Review and monitor facility compliance with national, state and local standards.
• Review and monitor workforce competence.

We are looking for a motivated, dedicated Executive Director with Senior Living management experience. On the job training will be provided and Assisted Living Manager Course must be taken within 6 months after hire (if not already obtained).

The Executive Director is required to effectively manage, direct and administer the organization in accordance with company policies and procedures, standards of practice for home health care administrators and government regulations, and maintain quality care for all clients.

Operator or Long-term care experience is highly preferred

As an Executive Director, you will work under the general supervision of a Regional Vice President to:

• Review and monitor compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, personnel, medical staff, financial status, public relations and maintenance of building and grounds under broad directives from the Governing Board. Explain policies to staff and other parties concerned.
• Periodically review policies and discuss and evaluate any necessary changes with personnel responsible.
• Regularly check financial status, maintain efficient accounting system. Help prepare annual budget and other records as necessary.
• Assists residents with admission and assures compliance with all Kansas and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but not limited to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, compliance with PASARR and CARE assessments.
• Review and monitor compliance of facility with national, state and local standards.
• Review and monitor competence of work force.
