Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director with senior living management experience to lead operations, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high-quality care for residents.

On-the-job training is provided and an Assisted Living Manager Course must be completed within 6 months after hire. The role reports to a Regional Vice President and focuses on policy adherence, budgeting, admissions, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Executive Director will manage and administer the organization in line with company policies, standards of practice for home health care administrators and government regulations.
• Operator or long-term care experience is highly preferred.
• On the job training will be provided and Assisted Living Manager Course must be taken within 6 months after hire (if not already obtained).

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, personnel, medical staff, financial status, public relations and maintenance of building and grounds under broad directives from the Governing Board.
• Explain policies to staff and other parties concerned.
• Periodically review policies and discuss and evaluate any necessary changes with personnel responsible.
• Regularly check financial status, maintain efficient accounting system. Help prepare annual budget and other records as necessary.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all Kansas and Federal requirements regarding admission.
• Review and monitor compliance of facility with national, state and local standards.
• Review and monitor competence of workforce.

As an Executive Director, you will work under the general supervision of a Regional Vice President to:
