Job summary

Christian Care Communities is seeking a Senior Living Executive Director to lead and oversee all aspects of the assisted living operations, ensuring high quality resident care and regulatory compliance. The role oversees staff, budgets, and cross-department collaboration to meet facility objectives.

The Executive Director collaborates with the CEO, develops quality metrics, and drives outreach and referral strategies to promote resident care excellence and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, human services, business administration, public health, or a closely related field from an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Required Experience: 3 years’ proven management experience
  • Preferred Experience: Nonprofit sector; experience in senior living, senior housing, assisted living and/or personal care, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the CEO with fully delegated responsibility and authority to carry out the day-to-day assisted living operations.
  • Preparation and management of annual functional budgets to ensure effective and efficient stewardship of Christian Care fiscal resources.
  • Completes and submits required reports, including responses to audits and reviews, in a timely manner.
  • Develops standards of quality, clinical excellence, resident safety, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement for the personal care function.
  • Develops reporting metrics on quality standards and satisfaction levels and publishes results on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintains and updates knowledge of prospective changes within the Assisted Living industry both within the Commonwealth of KY and throughout the United States.
  • Provides on-going and timely communication on resident status with families and/or resident support systems to promote positive and informed relationships.
  • Establishes outreach and education efforts throughout the community to promote a better understanding of Assisted Living services.
  • Builds relationships and develops referrals as a key to success for sales opportunities by keeping a pulse on local market conditions and potential referral sources to impact lead generation.

The Executive Director is responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure optimal quality of care is delivered to the residents; responsible and accountable for functions and activities of the entire staff while appropriately integrating these activities with all other departments in the facility that contribute to resident care; plans and organizes systems of care, objectives, policies, procedures, staffing patterns and staff development based on the needs of the facility within the framework of the established budget while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, and regulatory and organizational standards.
