Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Dining Service Director to oversee all activities of the Dining Services Department within our community. You will ensure quality meals, high service standards, and compliance with dietary guidelines while managing department expenses.

Responsibilities include directing staff, budgeting, scheduling, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with the Activities Director to promote a rich culinary experience for residents, while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of continuing education preferred.
• Three years of experience in food service preparation and managing staff (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Directs planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching in the dining service department.
• Ensures compliance with nutritional requirements and special diets.
• Manages dining budget and monthly spend down.
• Maintains food safety, temperatures, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinates events with the Activities Director to promote the culinary experience.
• Schedules hours and duties for dietary staff.
