Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Dining Service Director to oversee the dining department, ensure high-quality meals, manage budgets, and enforce safety and dietary standards. The role reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with activities staff to enhance the resident culinary experience.

The candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience in food service management and a Serv/Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities of the Dining Services Department and dining room.
• Ensures meals meet nutritional requirements and special diets.
• Maintains dining budget and monthly spend.
• Ensures food safety, proper temperatures and sanitation.
