Job summary

St Johns Health Care Corporation in New York seeks a Dining Services Director to lead all dining operations for residents, guests and staff, ensuring quality service, safety, and budget adherence.

You will hire, train, supervise dining personnel; coordinate food purchasing, menu planning with the Chef; oversee front- and back-of-house facilities and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
• HACCP/Food Safety Certified is required – St. John’s will provide
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining service operations across all dining areas.
• Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Manage staffing to meet budget and service levels.
• Coordinate with Chef on menu development and special events.
• Conduct regular inspections and recordkeeping for quality and safety.
• Hire and train Dining Services staff and evaluate performance.
