Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of community dining. You will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, manage menus, ensure sanitation, and maintain budget compliance while delivering exceptional resident dining experiences.

You will lead a team to plan monthly menus, coordinate with maintenance and management, and ensure health code adherence. A ServSafe certification and a Food Service Manager Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate and/or meet regulatory requirements.
• Experience in dining services management, preferably in senior care.
• Strong knowledge of health and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hiring, training, and evaluating dining staff.
• Develop and post monthly menus meeting resident dietary needs.
• Ensure sanitation and safe food handling per regulations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for food and labor.
• Plan meals to maintain timely service and nutritional value.
• Lead monthly food committee meetings with residents.
