Job summary

Rapport, a division of FLIK Hospitality Group and member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Catering Operations Manager in New York. The role supports catering and executive dining services, ensuring accurate orders, effective liaison with Restaurant Associates, and seamless delivery for senior leaders.

The position partners with the Executive Liaison to provide administrative and operational support, upholding service standards and driving process improvements across events and dining

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in catering, conference services, hospitality, or executive dining environments.
• Strong experience managing catering orders, BEOs, and event logistics.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in pricing and order management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate informal direction into professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Catering & Event Coordination: Build, manage, and maintain all catering orders within the booking platform, ensuring accuracy of menu selections, quantities, timing, and pricing.
• Executive Dining Partnership: Support executive dining operations on the 8th floor and translate requests into clear professional communication.
• Financial & Quality Control: Audit catering orders and invoices for pricing accuracy and adherence to pricing structures.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Act as liaison between Rapport, RA, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Uphold SOPs, identify process improvements, and ensure consistency in presentation and service.
