Job summary

Horizontal Talent, a digital transformation consulting team, seeks a seasoned advisor to shape executive roadmaps for telecom clients and to guide implementation in the Denver area. You will translate complex metrics into actionable recommendations and lead strategic advisory work that drives measurable growth.

You will develop executive narratives around ARPU, retention, churn, and channel mix, and partner with delivery teams to ensure realistic execution and adoption of new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting, digital transformation, or strategy advisory at a senior level.
• Strong background working with telecom, cable, or communications service provider clients.
• Ability to build and present compelling business cases using financial and performance data.
• Knowledge of customer segmentation, personalization, funnel optimization, and digital experience strategy.
• Comfort working across both strategy and implementation phases of client engagements.
• Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders and defend recommendations.
• Experience with business and financial modeling related to customer growth, retention, and channel performance.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and move engagements forward with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic advisory work for digital growth priorities, including channel shift, funnel optimization, identity modernization, personalization, and monetization initiatives.
• Develop executive-level narratives using business and financial metrics such as ARPU/ARPA, retention, churn, and digital channel mix.
• Advise on identity and fraud-risk considerations, including approaches that move beyond traditional credit-bureau-dependent models.
• Design personalization and journey strategies that support more individualized customer experiences and faster implementation timelines.
• Translate strategy into execution by partnering with delivery and technical teams to ensure recommendations are realistic and actionable.
• Monitor adoption of newly launched digital capabilities and adjust plans when results or uptake are behind expectations.
• Facilitate executive workshops and governance discussions to review priorities, align roadmaps, and keep work focused on measurable outcomes.
• Identify new opportunities within client relationships and help expand the scope of work based on value delivered.
