Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Signature Dining Program. This hands-on leadership role guides a culinary team to deliver chef-inspired, from-scratch cuisine while upholding quality, presentation, and safety standards.

You will manage menus, train staff, and ensure cost controls within budget. The role emphasizes resident engagement, HACCP and sanitation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience a plus.
• Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation and food cost controls.
• Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food production from purchasing to plating with budget adherence.
• Supervise kitchen staff and uphold performance standards.
• Implement and maintain core menus and recipe management.
• Ensure sanitation and monthly internal audits.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations HACCP.
• Engage residents through dining room visits and events.
