The role requires a Culinary Arts degree or five years of high-volume cooking with prior management experience. English communication and team leadership are essential in a fast-paced retirement community environment.

• Prior management experience preferred.
• ServSafe/HACCP certification required.

• Prepare community meals from scratch three times daily.
• Hire, train, manage, and discipline kitchen staff.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Manage food and labor budgets and inventory controls.
• Coordinate with regional chef to maintain Hawthorn standards.
