Job summary

Westminster St. Augustine, part of Westminster Communities of Florida, is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services to assist the Dining Services Director in planning, coordinating and implementing the community's quality dining program for residents, staff and guests.

This on-site, full-time role may serve as interim Dining Service Director and requires ServSafe certification, strong leadership, and a focus on exceptional resident dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: Certified Dietary Manager or related college degree.
• 5 years high-volume dining/ hospitality experience.
• Must be ServSafe certified or able to certify within 90 days.
• Proficient in MS Office and menu software.

Responsibilities

• Assume the Department Director responsibilities in absence.
• Schedule staff and organize the dept to meet daily dietary needs.
• Ensure equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
• Schedule training and in-service compliance (e.g., 5 Star Server, ServSafe).
• Supervise purchasing and inventories.
• Oversee sanitation guidelines for all dining venues.
• Oversee daily dining service meals to ensure quality resident experience.
