Zusammenfassung

Unidine Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations in a Long Term Care facility. You will ensure safety and sanitation while directing meal preparation in line with corporate programs and guidelines.

This is an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary leadership role. Qualifications include a CDM credential to be earned within the required time frame, 5+ years in culinary/kitchen management, and strong computer skills.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience.
• ServSafe certification would be highly desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation.
• Establishes cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintains inventory within guidelines and ensures product availability.
• Decides on utilization of leftovers within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Participates in departmental meetings and professional programs.
