Oak Wood Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our dining program, ensuring culinary standards, portion control, and a high-quality resident dining experience, while controlling food and labor costs. As Executive Chef you will oversee the culinary team in day-to-day operations, drive food safety, sanitation, and resident satisfaction, and collaborate with management to meet budget goals.

The position requires a minimum of three years as a chef in a large-scale operation, prior LTC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation.
• Prior dietary experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a kitchen managerial position.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards and maintain portion control.
• Lead the culinary team in day-to-day operations and improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction.
• Meet budget, food and labor costs, food safety, and sanitation standards.
