Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety, and direct meals per corporate guidelines. This role requires energetic culinary leadership and the ability to manage staff, menus, and production in a high-volume setting.

The position emphasizes quality, sanitation, training, and adherence to health standards, with opportunities to participate in departmental meetings and professional development programs.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary/kitchen management.
• Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience a plus and high-volume, complex foodservice operations.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience; strong knowledge of trends, cost controls, and presentation.
• Computers experience including MS Office; ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure a safe, sanitary work environment.
• Plan regular and modified menus per guidelines and standard recipes.
• Train kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and equipment operation.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure adherence by staff.
• Manage inventory within guidelines and ensure product availability.
• Decide on leftover food utilization within company policies.
• Comply with health regulations and participate in audits.
• Attend departmental meetings and professional development activities.
