Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; culinary-related degree preferred.
• Food Safety knowledge; Food Protection Manager Certification preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus, forecast portions, cost items, and manage budget.
• Recruit, supervise, train, schedule, and direct culinary staff.
• Control expenses and manage food/supply needs and inventory.
• Maintain safe, sanitary kitchen standards and hygiene.
• Schedule and lead culinary work for events and ensure quality.
• Direct food preparation and cooking for the unit.
• Identify safety issues and report them to management.
