CCL Hospitality Group seeks an Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, recruit, train and empower onsite staff, and deliver show-quality food while maintaining budgets and safety standards. The role emphasizes maximizing resident satisfaction, food quality, and financial performance through strong leadership and process discipline.

The position requires hands-on culinary expertise, culinary/kitchen management experience, and a focus on health, sanitation, and cost controls to drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
• Extensive catering experience a plus
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences
• Hands-on chefs experience a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production and ensure food quality and safety.
• Develop menus and seasonal specials with local ingredients.
• Monitor food and labor costs to meet budgets.
• Direct and coach kitchen staff and ensure safety compliance.
• Foster resident and client satisfaction through service excellence.
• Schedule staff based on forecasted volumes.
