PF Changs China Bistro in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a full-time Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary team and oversee food service operations. You will hire, train, and develop staff while managing inventory and costs to uphold high kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of culinary management experience with prep lists.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for occasional duties.
• Experience managing inventory, cost of goods and overall financials.
• Hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment experience.
• Experience in managing a team and developing future leadership.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to stand/walk 8–10 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for operational excellence in the kitchen.
• Delegates tasks and directs kitchen staff.
• Conducts interviews with kitchen management and staff candidates.
• Oversees training and continual development of Sous Chefs and staff.
• Prepares work schedules for Sous Chef and staff.
• Maintains safety certifications for kitchen staff.
• Manages inventory, COGS, and overall financials.
• Ensures health inspections are met.
• Maintains product quality standards and food costs.
• Oversees prep lists, ordering guides, and opening/closing checklists.
• Maintains and repairs kitchen equipment and facility.
