Job summary

P.F. Chang's is seeking an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary team and oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top dining standards. The role focuses on hiring, training, and developing staff while managing inventory and cost controls to support the restaurant’s financial goals.

The leader will report to the Operating Partner or General Manager and drive excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, promoting internal growth and strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of culinary management experience.
• Experience managing inventory, cost of goods, and financials.
• Experience in hands-on, fast paced, high-volume kitchen environments.
• Experience developing and mentoring kitchen staff for leadership roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations to ensure high culinary and service standards.
• Hire, train and develop culinary team; manage inventory and costs.
• Schedule Sous Chefs and kitchen staff; ensure safety certifications.
• Oversee prep lists, ordering guides and opening/closing checklists.
• Maintain product quality standards and food costs; monitor health inspections.
• Ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment and proper station coverage.
