Qualifications

• BS or AO-S in culinary arts or related field, or culinary certificate with experience.
• 3–5 years progressive kitchen management experience.
• High-volume foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.
• Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follows recipes, portions, production worksheets, waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Trains kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation per standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Maintains inventory within guidelines to ensure product availability.
• Decides on leftover utilization within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings.
