Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations for our food team at HMH Old Bridge Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. You will supervise the on-site food service staff and drive culinary excellence, standardizing operations and crafting innovative menus for diverse client needs.

The role requires leadership in high-volume, fast-paced environments, strong menu planning, and cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications

• Extensive culinary expertise with a proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Leadership and management skills with experience mentoring teams and driving professional development.
• Advanced menu planning abilities and understanding of current culinary trends and client preferences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with proficiency in computer systems to streamline operations.
• ServSafe certification and HACCP knowledge to ensure food safety and compliance.
• Education requirement of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, with 1–3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations for the on-site food service team at the client site.

• Oversee procurement and purchasing to ensure top-quality ingredients and cost-effective sourcing.
