Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee the food and nutrition team, develop culinary solutions for patient and customer needs, and manage production, presentation, and service standards.

You will lead a culinary staff, drive cost controls, ensure food quality and safety, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences for patients and guests.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree is required.
• Minimum five years’ supervisory experience in hospital food and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the food and nutrition team and develop culinary solutions to meet patient and customer needs.
• Manage production, presentation, and service standards and apply culinary techniques.
• Train and manage culinary staff to ensure high quality food production and service.
• Maintain staff records, shift opening/closing checklists, and performance data.
• Develop and maintain client and guest rapport and communicate regional culinary trends.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and compliance with safety policies and food standards.
