Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations at a healthcare facility. You will prepare meals per corporate guidelines and oversee a team of cooks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include menu planning, standardization, staff training, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role offers a competitive salary and a sign-on bonus as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• AS or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation and food cost controls.
• Hands-on chef with strong leadership and training capabilities.
• Must be experienced with computers including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; use production worksheets and waste logs.
• Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation according to standards.
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Manage inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure product availability.
• Comply with health regulations and safety policies; participate in audits and safety initiatives.
