Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a skilled kitchen supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure meals are prepared in line with corporate guidelines. You will lead the team, manage menus, and uphold high standards of quality and sanitation in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of progressive kitchen management experience, strong food safety knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standards.
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas.
• Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines while assuring that necessary product is available when needed.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
