Job summary

Franklin Woods, a Maryland-based long-term care facility, is seeking a Full Time Assistant Dining Services Director to lead all food service operations for residents, patients, and staff. You will supervise kitchen and dining staff, ensure meals meet dietary requirements, and coordinate service across multiple dining locations with a focus on quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience required.
• ServSafe or equivalent certifications required per regulations governing nursing center.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Must read/write/speak English to ensure patient safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and supervise all aspects of food preparation and service.
• Ensure menus, recipes, and diet requirements are followed.
• Oversee timely preparation and service of meals across locations.
• Supervise Food and Nutrition Services staff and mentor team members.
• Maintain sanitary and food safety standards and monitor temperatures.
