Job summary

Highgate Hotels is hiring a Chef de Cuisine for the E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami, FL. The role supports the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality cuisine, managing menus, costs, and inventory, and leading the kitchen team to maximize revenue while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in a fast-paced kitchen, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for local ingredients and quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage costs and drive revenue.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in all kitchen operations.
• Deliver consistently high-quality food and manage menu plans.
• Control labor, food cost, and inventory with strong cost-consciousness.
• Lead staff, provide coaching, and ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Coordinate with F&B management and other departments to deliver the guest experience.
• Schedule staff based on forecasted volumes and recruit as needed.
• Develop and implement recipes, specials, and portion controls.
