Job summary

Valeris is seeking an Executive Care Coordinator to guide patients through benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and reimbursement steps. You will manage inbound/outbound communications with patients, prescribers, and caregivers, ensuring accuracy and timely handling of records and claims in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with nurse educators, coordinate with payers, and provide patient-friendly education on program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare access delivery or patient access.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and insurance processes.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus; remote work eligibility subject to criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own the patient journey from initiation to closure, including benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
• Explain coverage options and next steps to patients, caregivers, and providers with clarity and empathy.
• Triages inquiries and troubleshoots issues via phone, email, and portal communications.
• Educate and advise healthcare providers and patients on Payor processes and program eligibility.
