Description
UAB Temp Services is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to executive leadership. This is a short-term temporary assignment requiring an individual who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment with minimal direction.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Proposed Hours: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive support to an executive in a demanding and highly visible environment. The successful candidate must be able to remain several steps ahead of the executive by proactively managing schedules, meetings, deadlines, communications, presentations, travel, and special events.
This position requires exceptional professionalism, discretion, emotional intelligence, technological proficiency, and the ability to make appropriate decisions independently. The Executive Assistant must be comfortable protecting the executive's time, managing competing requests, and adjusting priorities throughout the day.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Knowledge of medical terminology may be preferred in some areas.
