Job summary

VERANDA is seeking an Executive Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, guest experience, and service standards in a high-end corporate dining setting. You will work closely with the General Manager and culinary leadership to drive performance, guest satisfaction, and financial results.

The role requires a polished hospitality leader with strong operational discipline, emotional intelligence, and the ability to develop high-performing teams on the floor and behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive leadership in upscale hospitality or corporate dining.
• Experience managing high-volume operations and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, labor management, scheduling, and controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to coach managers and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading daily operations, service execution, team performance, and business results.
• Assume full operational leadership in the General Manager's absence.
• Maintain a highly visible presence and lead service from the floor.
• Anticipate operational needs, identify challenges, and implement timely solutions.
• Ensure consistent execution across dining periods, service platforms, events, and workplace hospitality functions.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear daily expectations for managers and hourly staff.
