Job summary

Le Suprême in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead service, team development, guest experience, and operational excellence in a high-volume, upscale French brasserie.

As a visible floor leader, you will partner with the General Manager, train front-of-house managers, oversee reservations and events, manage schedule and costs, ensure health and safety standards, and drive hospitality that builds lasting guest relationships.

Qualifications

3+ years of restaurant management experience in upscale or high-volume settings.
Strong front-of-house operations knowledge and elevated service standards.
Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop hospitality teams.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations with the General Manager.
Be a visible, hands-on leader during service and set the tone for hospitality and attention to detail.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff and managers.
Oversee scheduling, labor, and operational costs to maintain profitability and service levels.
Ensure health, safety, sanitation and alcohol-service compliance.
