Job summary

Virginia Tech Athletics is seeking an Executive Assistant for Football to provide high‑level administrative support, manage calendars, travel, meetings, budgets, and confidential matters for the football program. The role reports to the Chief of Staff for Football and requires discretion, organization, and strong communication in a fast-paced collegiate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience, or a master's degree.
• Administrative or executive support experience.
• Experience managing complex calendars, scheduling, correspondence, travel, meetings, budgets, and administrative processes.
• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, and travel to away football games.
