The Executive Assistant supports U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms senior leaders within the Office of Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Continuity, providing comprehensive executive-level administrative and organizational support in a mission-critical environment. The incumbent manages schedules for senior leaders, coordinates meetings, briefings, and high-priority events, and adapts to changing operational priorities and unforeseen requirements. Work involves a combination of sensitive personnel and program assignments performed on behalf of the Assistant and Deputy Assistant Sergeants at Arms and is distinguished by advanced, senior-level administrative work. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the Assistant and Deputy Assistant Sergeant at Arms and is reviewed for the quality and quantity of work performed and adherence to policies and procedures. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
