Why Mintlify?
We're on a mission to empower builders.
- Massive reach: Our docs platform serves 70 million+ developers every year and powers documentation for 8,000+ companies, including Anthropic, Cursor, Windsurf, Scale AI, X, and over 20 % of the last YC batch.
- Small team, huge impact: We’re only 20 people today, backed by $18.5 million in funding, each new hire shapes the company’s trajectory.
- Culture of slope over y-intercept: We value learning velocity, grit, and unapologetically unique personalities.
We grew in value faster than headcount and we’re looking to align the two in the coming year.
About our Executive Assistant role:
We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join us in scaling Mintlify. This person will be “mission control” for Mintlify’s founders and leadership team, acting as a strategic partner by handling calendars and scheduling, making administrative tasks fast and scalable and facilitating a space for the team to work at its best. This is a high leverage role where you'll be working closely with the CEO and CTO to accelerate the team’s overall operations and move us closer to our company vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage communications channels, including email, mail, and messages, ensuring prompt responses and prioritizing urgent matters
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc support, including office orders, company swag operations, coordination of meals, etc
- Manage complex calendars, travel, and logistics for our founders
- Coordinate and execute high-impact meetings and events, from internal meetings, hiring chats to company offsites
- Lead projects to enhance company culture and team effectiveness
- Anticipate needs and proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Facilitate a wonderful in-person work environment as our primary office manager
- Project management (ad hoc): spearhead projects, whether related to people or our business
What You’ll Bring
- Proactive ownership mentality — You anticipate needs before they arise, taking initiative to remove friction across scheduling, communication, and operations.
- Operational fluency — You have a knack for building and streamlining processes that scale.
- Sharp attention to detail — Whether it’s a last-minute travel change or formatting a team update, you bring accuracy, consistency, and polish to everything you touch.
- Bias for action — You’d rather test and improve than wait for perfect. You’re energized by solving bottlenecks and learning from small experiments in how to work better.
- Curiosity about startups — You’re excited to see how product, marketing, and leadership intersect — and want to be at the heart of a company that’s scaling fast.
- Cultural builder — You care about the little moments that shape company culture and take pride in helping build a joyful, high-performing workplace.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting PLG or fast-growing startups — You’ve worked in environments where velocity matters, and you know how to keep things running smoothly when the team is sprinting.
- Comfort around technical teams — You don’t need to code, but you’re familiar with the rhythms of engineering and product teams. You know what a stand-up is, what a launch entails, and how to unblock builders.
- You’ve shipped high-impact projects — Maybe it was a company offsite or a new internal system — you’ve owned projects from idea to execution, and they made life better for the team.
We're looking for someone who understands our culture, loves hyper-organization and who can help us be more efficient and streamlined. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to build a function 0-1 at a very fast-growing startup.
