Job description

Future Standard is seeking an Executive Assistant to support executives in our New York office, including senior investment and trading professionals.

This role is instrumental in enabling senior leaders to operate efficiently through exceptional calendar management, travel coordination, meeting logistics, and proactive administrative support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, market-driven environment. This individual will be a trusted partner who anticipates needs, exercises sound judgment, and consistently delivers with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Equally important, we are looking for a team player who understands that great Executive Assistants are essential to keeping the organization running smoothly. While executive support will be the primary focus, the successful candidate will be willing to jump in wherever needed, whether assisting with office operations, employee events, administrative team initiatives, or day-to-day tasks. No task is too small when it contributes to the success of the team and the firm. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering outstanding service, supporting their teammates, and doing whatever it takes to help the firm succeed. This is a five-day a week on-site role requiring flexibility, urgency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS EXPECTED TO:
  • Manage complex and highly active executive calendars, balancing business priorities, market-sensitive schedules, and competing demands.
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively address issues before they arise.
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and other executive communications.
  • Process expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate client meetings, investor events, conferences, dinners, and other business functions.
  • Build strong relationships across the firm and serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Executive Assistants to ensure seamless support and cross-coverage.
  • Assist with office operations, employee events, and administrative initiatives as needed.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on, team-first mentality and a willingness to contribute wherever support is needed.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and consistently deliver high-quality work with professionalism and urgency.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, logistics, and real-time problem solving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives.
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred; experience supporting investment professionals, portfolio managers, traders, or senior leadership is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong calendar management and travel coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Service-oriented and collaborative, with a track record of building strong relationships across teams.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on responsibilities ranging from strategic executive support to day-to-day operational tasks.
